Get Involved

Volunteer or Donate Books

The San Francisco Book Wagon travels to elementary schools during the week and Mission Science Workshop and Manny's Community Coffee House on Saturdays. We offer a couple of ways that people can get involved.

We are happy to take donations of gently used books appropriate for
elementary school-age children. We are particularly in need of Spanish language books. We can pick up or you can drop off books at an arranged location.

Let us know what are favorite books for your children - we try and find the books that children will take with them and read - graphic novels, mystery books, new readers.
Email us with additional suggestions to bookwagonsf@gmail.com.

We are interested in seeking volunteers to help with book distribution.
Contact us online or check out our calendar and meet us on Saturday.
We post our park schedule on Instagram @thebookwagonSF.
